About Me

My name is Alain Ebner, and my passion is holistic skincare, body care, and overall well-being — because true radiance begins where people genuinely feel comfortable in their own skin and body.

As a certified cosmetician and massage therapist, I consciously chose a profession dedicated to helping people feel cared for, relaxed, and confident. My journey into the beauty industry was not entirely conventional: I became the first male cosmetician in Switzerland to earn the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ). A pioneering role that continues to shape my work and perspective today.

Because this profession was traditionally seen as a “typically female” field, some clients initially approach with curiosity or a certain hesitation. But for me, this is exactly where something meaningful begins — the opportunity to break down preconceptions and build genuine trust.

Many of my clients share that any initial uncertainty quickly disappears. What remains is an atmosphere of calm, professionalism, and respect, where women and men alike feel welcome, comfortable, and in good hands.

In my work, I combine modern cosmetic treatments, holistic skincare, and professional massage therapy with a strong focus on quality, precision, and personalized care. Every treatment is individually tailored to the needs of each client — with attention to detail, sensitivity, and a holistic understanding of beauty and well-being.

With Best of You Cosmetics in Basel, I created a place where people can step away from everyday life for a moment. A space for care, relaxation, and renewed energy.
